Hailing from Porte de Saint-Ouen on the outskirts of Paris, black-cad group Vox Low – previously known as Think Twice – are longtime champions of a hedonistic disco sound that they believe to have been wrongly consumed by urgent punk and depressive krautrock. Akin to an acid house version of The Jesus & Mary Chain, they have made a series of short-playing releases on labels such as Höga Nord Records and Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant. In February 2018, Vox Low released their debut album on that mecca of independent rock music in France, Born Bad Records.
