Seth XVI is, without question, the most exciting electro-pop artist to have come out of Lyon in recent years. From his soft, rousing voice to his efficient, technically accomplished instrumentations and his sharp, colourful aesthetic, all the elements are in place for Seth to be the next breakthrough electro star. A multi-instrumentalist, this prodigious talent is as equally at home with a guitar or drum machine as he is behind the microphone. And he puts these tools to thrilling use on tracks that are dripping with charm and romanticism, while creating sonic atmospheres that call to mind FKJ or Fakear.
His latest EP Pulp has thrust him firmly into the limelight. Released on the label and YouTube channel Dealer de Musique, the record has exploded on the back of the strength of its lead track Your Taste, a melancholic ballad with a strong beat, jazzy flourishes and an irrepressible groove. This is summer music at its finest, strongly recommended to all fans of Kid Francescoli and Clem Beatz.
