Born in Italy and currently residing in London, Alessio Natalizia’s musical journey included stops at punk and krautrock, before he eventually arrived at techno. The man behind 24, a sort of brutal and combative electro manifesto, Not Waving first appeared on the radar with a residence at the Red Bull Music Academy Paris, where he really (ahem) made waves. A close companion of Powell, with whom he shares a similar radicalness of vision, Not Waving’s sound manages to simultaneously draw from the music of Aphex Twin and Regis. Versatile and abrasive; a producer for our times.
