Bio

Who says that there’s no longer a place for industrial techno on the Lyon scene? Not Milenà, that’s for sure. This young member of the Less Is Techno collective, who cut her teeth as part of the Jacob team and at the Double Mixte’s wild raves, delivers cavernous atmospheres and metallic beats with impressive power and conviction. Drawing her influences from the frenetic rhythms of Tommy Four Seven, Len Faki, Gary Beck and James Ruskin, Milenà has made a name for herself on the city’s techno scene thanks to distinguished appearances in the DJ booths at the Jacob, the Annexe, Distrikt XII and Le Petit Salon.

With a penchant for roaring subs, exaggerated kicks and fat bass lines, she creates dark, enigmatic music that lurches from slow and heavy to frantic and efficient. Like Lyon’s answer to AZF, she has a relentless thirst for decibels, producing late-night techno and industrial vibrations capable of shaking a warehouse to its very core.
