Lena Willikens first cut her teeth in the world of electronic music during a five-year Friday night residency in the dark, sweaty surroundings of Düsseldorf’s Salon Des Amateurs. Now signed to Cómeme, who released her first EP Phantom Delia in 2015, she is also the creative force behind Sentimental Flashback, a monthly radio show in which she shares her latest musical whims with a breathtaking nonchalance.
Never one to set boundaries for her sound, Lena Willikens is capable of tapping into music’s mystical dimension, leading her tracks – and the listener – on a journey to unexplored lands.
