Josh Cheon is perhaps best known as the founder and manager of Dark Entities, the label that has become the point of reference for diggers of sombre, electronic and 80s post-punk. Yet Josh is also one of the cornerstones of Honey Soundsystem, a collective that he first joined in 2006 after falling under the spell of disco and the West Coast sound. In each of his sets, the American shares and surprises in equal measure, slaloming between eclectic styles and more obvious selections with trademark aplomb.
