Bio

Having retreated to the heart of the Djerid desert in Tunisia for three whole years, the five members of Ifriqiyya Electrique eventually re-emerged with more than just a live set.A singular and original blend of ritual music, hypnotic trance and electronic obsessions, their album Rûwâhîne is a genuinely disturbing work. Slaloming between the devilish and the downright evil, this body blow of a record will leave you reeling for long after its haunting hour has come to an end.

A unique project crafted (quite literally) out of the blood, sweat and tears of its authors, the artistic process was captured in 300 hours of rush footage, some of which is projected live during performances. Once you’ve seen a live set by Ifriqiyya Electrique, there really is no turning back.
