Bio
With nearly a dozen releases already to his name, Hugo LX’s musical CV is the envy of budding producers all over France. In the beginning, as a member of The Funk League, he recorded three EPs and an album for the excellent Favorite Recordings. He was then spotted by Chez Damier and signed to the latter’s Balance label, co-founded by Ron Trent. Incredibly, the cherry on the cake was still to come, as Nick V invited him to collaborate on Mona Music and Jeremy Underground’s first release on My Love Is Underground. A perennial favourite in digging circles, Hugo LX is proof that an insatiable passion for house – and no small amount of talent – can take you a long way on the French electronic scene.
