Femanyst is the techno alias used by Lady Blacktronica, an artist possessing of a deep house discography as extensive as it is inspired. And, although this San Francisco producer may be under a new alias, her move to Berlin has clearly done nothing to diminish her Californian exuberance.
Having started out in 1997 with Mattski, she first tried her hand behind the production desk in 2006 with a series of house compositions strongly influenced by the Detroit and Chicago sounds. Now enjoying her new identity, Femanyst specialises in techno that is festive, impulsive and oh-so joyous!
