Ethyène may physically spend most of his time in Lyon, but in his mind he is on a never-ending spiritual journey between Detroit, Chicago and Manchester. And whether performing his duties as a DJ, producer or label manager, his focus never wavers from delivering a fresh house sound inspired by the greats of the genre.
Only 25 years old, and with nearly a decade in music production already to his name, the former resident of hip-hop collective Artjacking has developed his own unique style by weaving together the aesthetics associated with different genres of black music. The result is an original sound reflecting a personal and mature relationship with house music.
