A former member of the Kunst:stoff Breakz collective, notorious in Dresden for their wild hip-hop parties and scrapes with the local authorities, Cuthead is now carving a niche for himself as a solo artist. A participant at RBMA 2008, the German is a master exponent of the MPC, which he has used to craft a trademark sound that effortlessly drifts between house and hip-hop. Whether in the studio or on stage, this prolific and eclectic musician likes nothing more than to dive headfirst into the choppy waters of dub, dubstep, techno and IDM.
