A self-proclaimed ‘wandering festive shambles’, Camion Bazar occupies a unique place in the world of French dance music. Brought to life by the masterful Romain Play, who joyfully travels the country in pursuit of parties and the love of celebration, Camion Bazar is one of the most surprising and quirky artistic projects around on the Parisian scene. Following a funky opening, the tempos start to rise and the music oscillates between modern disco and filtered beats, before reaching the final straight in a cacophony of live percussion, exotic detours and gangster house.
Camion Bazar – literally the ‘bazaar truck’ – will be revving up its nocturnal motors for the first time at Nuits Sonores in 2018. Fasten your seatbelts, check the rearview mirrors, and get ready for the trip of a lifetime!
