In the red corner, introducing Caballero: born in Barcelona, raised in Brussels, initiated in the ways of electronic music by Les Corbeaux.
In the blue corner, introducing JeanJass: born in Charleroi, a Belgian rapper and beatmaker who cut his teeth with local crew Exodarap.
While they may have forged separate paths to begin with, Caballero and JeanJass now come as a pair. On their two albums, Double Hélice (2016) and Double Hélice II (2017), the intense flow of the former has been pitched up against the abrasive delivery of the latter. It has proved to be a winning formula, and one that has seen them climb the rungs to become one of contemporary culture’s most iconic duos.
To celebrate the launch of High & Fines Herbes, a show soon to be broadcast on Viceland, Caballero & JeanJass are making an exclusive appearance at Nuits Sonores alongside a selection of very special guests.
