Bio
Saxophone-drums duo Binker Golding and Moses Boyd – better known as Binker and Moses – are the latest darlings of the British jazz scene. But don’t be fooled by their youthful appearance; these young musicians come with serious pedigree. Born in 1986 and 1991 respectively, Binker and Moses are well versed in the classics, from Michael Brecker to Max Roach, Sly to Tony Allen. They have even had the honour of accompanying the latter on stage, in addition to rubbing shoulders with some of England’s leading jazz figures and racking up appearances at an impressive number of the country’s bars and clubs. They have recorded and performed live with singer Zara McFarlane, while Moses’ solo work has been remixed by the likes of Four Tet.
With two albums already to their name, and a growing reputation for transcendent, uninterrupted live performances, the future looks bright for this dynamic duo.
