For several years now, the French capital has been crawling with young producers and DJs working across the entire techno spectrum, each pushing their genre to new limits. However, few of them can boast the experience and sheer mastery of Antigone. Resident at floating nightspot Concrete, long-time buddy of François X, flagship producer for Belgian label Token records, and regular guest on Construct Re-Form, Antonin Jeanson does not have an idle bone in his multi-talented body.
With a passion for dense, elegant techno and sci-fi atmospheres (as demonstrated on his EP The Astral Traveller, released on Concrete Music in 2013), he has become one of the most prominent exponents of the new ‘Made in Paris’ beat that has injected the city’s clubs with warmth, power and creativity. Imbued with a trademark analogue feel – particularly his track The Wizard – and underscored by balanced rhythms, his set for Le Circuit is sure to send the crowds at Ninkasi into raptures.
