A member of Nine Inch Nails since 2004, Alessandro Cortini has forged his way into the public conscious in his own right thanks to a series of collaborations with artists as far-removed as Daniel Avery and Christina Aguilera. Since first starting out as a solo artist in 2013, Alessandro has developed his own sound that seems to float on a noise cloud where drone, ambient and early electronic all converge; think Mort Garson, Coil and Boards of Canada, all trapped in the same body. The result is an introspective experience, reproduced on stage with the aid of video recordings from the Italian’s childhood.
