Bio
Despite the creative and technological innovations that are making collaboration work easier, three-piece acts are still something of a rarity in electronic music. Agents of Time provide an object lesson in the commitment, precision and flexibility required to make this sort of set-up work. Built around the talents of Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa and Luigi Tutolo, the project – which was born in the southern Italian town of Bari in 2013 – has grown to become one of the most influential techno acts around. Futuristic, sonic and energetic, every live performance by the trio is a musical box of surprises: rough and primitive, yet softened by deep synths and cosmic soundscapes.
Firmly established at the forefront of Italy’s musical ecosystem, Agents of Time work with eye-opening technical precision, whether live or in the studio. Their international reputation was secured in 2015, when they released a number of their most important productions on labels such as Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant and Maceo Plex’s Ellum. They will be performing live for the first time at Nuits Sonores in 2018.
