Bio

A renowned music journalist, peerless DJ, singer, producer and ambassador for Exit festival, Tijana T has been collecting titles ever since she started promoting electronic music. But we could quite easily add another to the list – dance music icon – such is the influence she has had on Serbian music over the last decade. Having started out at the Boiler Room in Belgrade, and since delivered sets at the world’s most prestigious clubs (from the Panorama Bar to the Robert Johnson, with stop-offs at Output in New York and Razzmatazz in Barcelona), the young Serb has long since deservedly enjoyed a stellar reputation within the European music ecosystem.

Behind the decks, her performances are as eclectic as they are technically impressive, featuring intense mixes formed of a hard techno core layered with acid (a legacy of her time at Abe Duque Records) and more housey, sensual beats. But above all, it is her ability to adapt the music to her surroundings that sets her apart; a sixth sense that serves as a key both to her audiences hearts and minds, and to a moment of shared sonic bliss.
