Rocco

The first major turning point in Rocco’s twenty-year career came when he joined forces with Alex Santos and Manoo in 2001 to form Rodamaal. Soon enough, the trio unleashed their epic track Insomnia: later remixed by Âme, it remains a landmark release in the history of deep house. Following that success, Rocco set about playing DJ sets around the world, thrilling dancefloors with his unique blend of house, techno and deep house. With every remix, original production and DJ set, Rocco’s fanbase has steadily grown. Word has spread particularly fast in South Africa, where he has been known to play stadium sets to crowds of up to 30,000 people.

As if he needed it, his reputation received a further boost when his track TBT3, released on Klement Boelli’s Krome Records, was included by Laurent Garnier on his DJ Mag compilation.
