records by artists who appeared on his revered label UMF (Universal Music Floor) between 1998 and 2007. And what a line-up it is: with entries from Agoria, The Hacker, Anton X and Andreas Kremer, the label’s back catalogue reads like a who’s who of the finest electronic talent of the last twenty years.
Not known for his prolific output as a producer, Marc Twins nonetheless released two EPs on his own label in 2001 and 2002. These included the excellent Electro Fish, which was heavily influenced by the Detroit aesthetic, particularly on stand-out track Under Cover. Possessing of a glittering musical CV, it’s surprising that we don’t see this unique DJing talent behind the decks more often.
