With one foot in Amsterdam and one on Platform 9 ¾, Orpheu the Wizard is the co-founder of Red Light Radio, the Netherlands’ very own Hogwarts School of Nightcraft. Orpheu is a man of many guises. With a musician’s ear, he carefully sketches out and enforces his station’s artistic approach; with a conjuror’s touch, he is capable of manipulating his dancefloor like a puppet on a string. Orpheu the Wizard knows no inhibition, and enjoys nothing more than to survey the damage done by his latest sonic bomb of disco, house or tribal beats.
