Positive Education is without doubt the most rambunctious festival to have come out of France in recent years. Allying a psychedelic, post-punk aesthetic with acclaimed musical programming – featuring EBM, industrial techno and noise –, the event has established itself as one of the undisputed highlights of the French electronic scene.
This is the spirit that Les Fils de Jacob, the duo behind the project, will be bringing to Hall A on the fourth night of Nuits Sonores 2018. Their aim? To turn the venue into one wild dancefloor, thanks to a trademark selection of cutting edge eclectic treats. Veritable modern-day punks, Les Fils de Jacob’s taste for powerful rhythms, saturated drums and mechanical vibes is sure to recreate the unique atmosphere that has earned their own festival in Saint Etienne such a fearsome reputation.
