Bio
When news came through that Kerri Chandler, the deep house legend from Chicago, had joined forces with Parisian DJ Jeremy Underground, it always felt like a perfect fit. The latter is, after all, Kerri’s biggest fan and better qualified than anyone to carry his torch for the new generation.
While Jeremy has never tried his hand at production, his house sets are never anything short of mesmerising, and such talent and generosity has inspired a loyal following. On the other hand, Kerri Chandler, one of the founding fathers of deep house, has spent 26 years tirelessly roaming the planet offering his unique vision of house music, a task that he accomplishes with equal aplomb either behind the decks or in the studio.
Rumour even has it that Jeremy Underground once bought an original copy of Kerri Chandler’s first vinyl on eBay for the modest sum of $900. It was later on when he discovered that Kerri, who no longer had a copy in his possession, only saw fit to bid $200 for it.
