Glasgow-based literature graduate Lanark Artefax specialises in stunning, shimmering and sombre electro with a sting in its tail. Described by Resident Advisor as “like watching a beautifully shot film on a scratched DVD”, this young Englishman’s unique sound has attracted plaudits from Bjork and Aphex Twin, who back regularly play his tracks during their DJ sets.
Following the release of Whities 011, his most accomplished work to date, Lanark Artefax has seen his Discogs rating soar. Comprising four tracks of techno and IDM perfection, the EP serves as confirmation of a young talent that is ready to soar.
